(March 3, 2019, 8:40 am)Just a simple walking trail amidst rolling hills and California oak savannah. Kestrel sittings and handsome scenery - walk was over fairly quickly. Not at all strenuous but an enjoyable place to walk and facilities and interpretive displays well done. Clean bathrooms and good drinking water resources.

(February 27, 2019, 12:14 am)My morning hiking group loves the easy access off 280, sufficient parking on weekdays, and clean bathrooms. The drinking water fountains include a dog level fountain, regular fountain, and water bottle filler. Several trails offer a variety of flat and hilly terrain as well as different lengths of hikes. Not much shade so this is a better choice in late fall, winter, and early spring. Not a good place to hike in the heat of summer. Many hikers were walking dogs on a Tuesday. A few cyclists were on the trails, but the wide trails offer plenty of room to pass. Lovely views of the valley and bay.

(January 16, 2019, 3:28 pm)Come here every week for a good long walk with my dogs. Must be on leash (bikes, rattlesnakes, coyotes etc) but miles of well maintained and marked trails. Bathrooms and water available. Parking limited on busy days but overflow available on street about 100 yards south.

Parking can be an issue sometimes but if you are willing to wait then you are fine. Clean rest rooms and rest areas are readily available for anybody.
Way too much horse poop though
