The staff is super friendly to both humans and animals. -

(October 6, 2015, 1:07 pm)I got my beautiful black kitten from them on 9/21. The employees here were helpful and quick getting me in to visit the cats and transferring ownership to me. They helped me keep track of her vaccinations, gave me useful advice for caring for her, and were generally super sweet.
My kitten is sweet, healthy, and well-adjusted and I have to guess that PAAS had something to do with that.
It was way more pleasant getting my pet from this shelter than dealing with fosters, cat rescues, adoption fairs, where the cats were stressed and confused and couldn't show us their true personalities.
