I hadn't eaten for four days. I was feeling tired and dizzy. It has been tough - I've been sleeping outside and it's so cold, I usually can't even fall asleep well. I felt lonely. I felt depressed. I saw online that this church gave out food for hungry people. And it was free. I couldn't afford any food, but I was hungry, so I went.
Thank you for the food. Thanks to the volunteers for being nice to us. I feel there is hope when I see churches do this - to help those in need. They didn't try to get me to do religious things or be converted. (I wouldn't mind praying - but I'm just making it clear that it wasn't one of those "eat and you must convert" kind of deals).
