(May 3, 2019, 3:39 pm)I have been shopping at your store ever since I got here in the USA each time I needed some car parts. The stores I went to were very helpful and courteous to their customers. Overall, my experience at O'Reilly in general was a "excellent" until I went to the store located at 1160 N. 4th Street in San Jose California. The service at this store is horrible, specially the Manager, Jose L., He doesn't even want to give his complete last name knowing what how he treated his customers. Not only he is not willing to provide help, he was also very rude. It is very sad that O'Reilly Auto Parts are putting people who has no manners and very trashy. Please if you think he is capable of managing a store,let him know that the customers shops at your store are the reason why the stores are not closing yet with all competition in the industry like your store. I don't think he is aware of that and if you keep him there, you will slowly losing all your shoppers. (FYI: I bought a Car Battery for my car that night and because of how he treated me, I have to return it even though I needed that battery very badly at that moment, I will never go back to that store). BTW, I went to Auto Zone that same night and got what I needed.

(December 29, 2018, 1:14 am)This has to be my favorite chain parts store. They are always helpful and, in my experience, go above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need for the job. I hardly every have the pushy salesmen trying to tell me what parts they believe I need. I recommend you go here if you are a tested technician or a weekend warrior. You will be satisfied with the level of customer service from any of their chains.

(October 11, 2018, 7:15 pm)I live nearby towards Japan Town and I consider this my local auto parts store whenever I need something. Even though its a franchise it feels like a mom & pop shop. I don't go here often but I always go to this one. They are nice and professional whether I call or stop in to ask about parts. I've come here to buy windshield wipers, air cabin & engine filters. Good prices. They'll find whatever fits your budget. I recall a few years ago I asked one of them to test my car battery and electrical stuff and he was very helpful. I think I bought a car battery here, too.
