The Crab Bay

All of foods are very good and tasty. Especially the Crawfish was huge and very fresh. Cajun fried rice and garlic butter noodles are number one 👍🏻

It’s July 4th and my favorite cf restaurant is closed. Google review came to the rescue once again. It’s how I found this place even though I live in the proximity for so many years. Major shout out to Trang, our waitress, for giving us the warmest hospitality on our first visit here. I ordered togo based on her recommendation and definitely will come back to order the rest of the menu. This is my first visit so I low key wanted to play safe with combo 1, garlic fries, shrimp something fried rice (forgot the name), frog legs, and the beignets. This place is definitely a hidden gem. CLEAN, FRESH, and prices are super reasonable. My mum gave 2 thumbs up on the beignets.

Day after Christmas 🎄, went to The Crab Bay for 1st time. Usually would go to Boiling Crab 🦀, but it was closed. Went with wife & sister-in-law, so the 3 of us ordered Combo #1 which was $50. 3 lbs of protein (chose 2 lbs shrimp & 1lb crawfish, 2 corn 🌽, 2 potatoes 🥔 and I think it was 4 slices of sausage. As for sauce, chose 1st one which was a combination of garlic, butter, and spice. For strength of heat, chose medium level, which was hot 🔥 enough to handle.

Sides: 1 order of garlic noodle $10 with 🍤 added for +$3, serves 3-4 people. One order of steamed rice 🍚 +$2, serves 1-2 people. Garlic Cajun fries 🍟, $6, big portion. Next time, I'd do without the Cajun seasoning and just get garlic fries. 4 stars since I didn't like the Cajun seasoning on fries and the sausage slices were small.

The amount of food was more than enough for the 3 of us. We even had a lot of leftovers for a doggie bag.

Overall, it was a good alternative to Boiling Crab. We would visit again. Total bill was $77 before tip, so ~$90 after tip.

My dad had fish and chips, which he thought was good. I initially ordered the lobster with garlic noodles, but it was chewy so they replaced it with a whole crab and noodles.

The noodles were better prepared. The crab was absolutely delicious.

The mango margarita was pretty good eight out of 10 and the server was super sweet.

The accommodations & sincere help from the servers were over & beyond. They loved our company & treated us like they wanted us here. They're appreciative & gave us the attentiveness for a huge bday party for my daughter. Thank you the crab 🦀 bay! We loved our visit. Definitely coming back over boiling crab. I know, I know, I said it... 🤭
