Tom has been my Jujitsu Coach for many years , I really appreciate his authenticity and passion for this sport, I would go as far as to say he is an artist in the discipline of self defense. His Coaching is not just a job to him it is a way of life. He is humble , honest and generous. After all these years of teaching me, I value him as my coach , my mentor and my friend

So I've been a student of Tom for nearly 8 years now and I have to say that there is no where else I would call home. I've been in his academy even before I was a teenager and even though at first it might seem like its not a good place to be at, I can say that it gets way better once you commit to it. I've read some of the other reviews here and frankly they are all dumb and stupid. They think they know the school just because they were there for a day or two and that that's the way it always is. But I'll tell you know that they are all wrong. They don't know anything about this place. If you are really considering about joining this place, I suggest that you pay only the first month just to check it out and if you like it then GREAT!!! Come join the family. If you don't you can leave along with the other short-sighted outcasts.

I've been a student of Tom's for nearly 6 years. I've had some of the best, most visceral experiences of my life at his studio. I've learned a great deal, both from Tom, but also from the higher belts. I'm in the best shape of my life, and can go anywhere and hold my head high with confidence.
I'm frankly surprised by some of the poor reviews, and have to assume rival studios are taking advantage of posting behind a computer. Shame on you.

Expect to train hard if you come here. There won't be much sitting around, and the instruction is very technical. You will also spend a big portion of the class sparring with students of all skill levels. If your looking for a good BJJ school with a high pace, I'd recommend Tom's school.
