Santa Clara Central Park

Love going to this park with my family. There are lots of different things to do - go to the library, sit by the pond to watch ducks and geese, have a picnic. It’s great for young kids with a small playground and sand pit. There’s also a bowling lawn and a swimming pool.

A great place to play Pokemon Go! There's lots of different areas here, so a little something for everyone.

After several loop around, I love taking a break under the pavilion (?) area. The canopy of leaves is super peaceful.

The geese seem to have taken over the baseball field by the edge of the park, so I don't feel judged by them as much anymore.

The fountains are turned back on as well, making it a visually nice park to walk. Everyone who comes here is generally courteous and pleasant.

Parking on some weekends can get tough due to swim practice or library patrons.

I’ve been regular at San Jose Central park and I love it!

Here you can find great barbecue zone, tennis facilities, swimming center, basketball court, special picnic area for rent etc! Everything looks great: clean and blossoming

The minus of the place right now it’s dry little pond in the middle of the park(( Lots of ducks and gooses walking around desperately looking for water they used to enjoy before! Also be careful with the poop those birds!!! #PoopAlarm

Anyway, I find this place one of the finest places around!

Great park, but the water in the pond is completely dry at the moment, which is a shame!

Santa Clara park is a clean 42 acre Sub/Urban park with picnic tables playground paved paths. Free parking 🅿️ civic center and beautiful pavilion structure. Family friendly
