Dr Amy Do Family Dentistry

I'm very new with Doctor Do's Office and they do things a bit different than I'm used too. I have no idea if that's good or bad yet...it is what it is. My other hygienist always did "deep cleaning" with tools down below the gums and I didn't feel that here, however...like I said, they did things different. High pressure water for cleansing and other tools for specific things too.

It had been over three years since I'd been to the dentist. We moved to Aptos, and then COVID hit. I didn't want to go in to any place that would be putting things in my mouth where other people also have their mouths open (have a bad heart, and weakened immune system). Anyway...they seem very friendly here. A bit more than I was paying before, however that might just be the times.

Not really sure why I dinged them a star...so far everything is fine...however don't know if they are "over the top" until I give em some time!

Dr. Do and her team are exceptional. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that takes the dread out of going to the dentist. :) Coming in with dentist fear from the past, I have been so happy to find that Dr. Do and her team are extremely gentle, communicative, and generous with their time. Dr. Do herself has an amazing memory and takes the time to connect with her patients. Can’t imagine a better dentist!

Excellent in every way. My prior dentist was very good but it was very difficult to get an appointment needing to book months in advance and then he finally stopped taking Delta Dental. I missed my last appointment with him after I caught COVID and they never made arrangements to reschedule and when I realized I had not had a cleaning for a while, it was a 4 month wait to get on schedule. I decided enough was enough and called Dr. Do. I was surprised to find out I could get a cleaning and overview the very next day. Dr. Do was very compassionate, funny and easy to deal with. She found some issues my other dentist missed and replaced a crown that was starting to deteriorate. She actually completed the work ahead of schedule. Everything was very thorough and on point. Nice open office and easy to get to. Very happy with the switch.

Dr. Do and her team truly make you feel so comfortable! She took me on with an emergency and handled me with such care and took care of the problem perfectly. They keep you involved with the decisions and planning for your dental care. Really recommend them for anyone!

Amy Do is the best dentist I've ever had. In fact, I did not know my prior dentists were not good until visiting Dr Do. Different league all together. I have had a routine cleaning and a crown so far - no pain, great work, quick and easy. Plus, the staff was so wonderful with my kids while i was in the hot seat. I highly recommend!
