(July 21, 2019, 3:25 pm)After an entire day of moving, a friend and I stopped by on a whim because we were starving, it seemed open, and it looked pretty interesting off the highway. We got the sampler plate for two, potato and leek soup, and herring. We also got a couple of cocktails, which were reasonably priced and tasty. Parking was a bit of a pain, even late in the evening, so be mindful if you show up during a busy hour.
Everything was delicious, and my friend, who grew up eating German food, said that the red cabbage was perfect. We showed up at almost 9 on a Saturday (they close at 10), so it was very quiet. Service was excellent, and food was served promptly despite it being late. We appreciated that they didn't rush us at all, even though we offered to just order for takeout once we realized they were closing soon.
It's a bit out of the way, but we would definitely come back the next time we're in the area or passing through. -

(May 8, 2019, 11:37 am)I was in a party of 4 having dinner here on a Saturday night in early May 2019. It was my first visit to this restaurant. My son brought us here. He's a local resident and regular customer at the Tyrolean. The least impressive part of this restaurant is the exterior. When you arrive and walk in, the place seems shabby, dirty and worn-out. Inside, everything is better. There are multiple dining rooms, and I think one of them is in an outdoor party tent, at least on this night. With the smaller rooms, there is some intimacy, while the restaurant is actually much larger. There were lots of happy people eating here, surely a good sign. The food was good, and there was an accordion player who played well, and not too loud, adding some nice traditional European music to the atmosphere. The wait staff wore historical German/ Austrian clothing, and our waitress added a wild twist to the fashion concept with her ultra-modern punk/ shaved hairstyle. She was a good, professional waitress. Service is excellent. We had a great time.

(831) 336-5188. We've been here, at least, 4 times and each meal has been one to remember. Their beer list is a destination in itself. I lived in Bavaria for 2 years, and the Tyrolean Inn is spot on. Great German beer and authentic meals along with great service really fits the bill!
