Loved Salamander Sal!
Great little nature center that is definitely worth a stop. My kids loved exploring the interactive displays that included audio recordings, a microscope, water table and a small reading alcove. We were lucky to meet a nice ranger who showed us a California King Snake. The nearby Marsh trail was full of dragonflies and crossed a small bridge over the Waddell Creek to a ranger station near the horse camp. The signs says this trail is 0.7 miles but it seemed shorter.
Good place for hiking. Beautiful scenery, perfect weather, lots of wild flowers. Love it.
