(August 11, 2019, 7:32 pm)Cute beach with tide pools and lots of areas to explore. We saw ducks, jack rabbits, and plenty of anemones. We did happen to see a deal seal washed ashore but there was plenty of other beach area to explore. The walk to the beach is nice and fairly easy but might be harder for someone with leg issues.

(June 23, 2019, 2:20 pm)Such a gorgeous beach, and so close to Santa Cruz, without the hoarsa of people. Its a little bit of a hike through the thicket, but its a wide beach with plenty of room and gorgeous views.

(October 21, 2018, 8:36 am)Great State Beach with a lagoon. Limited parking. Unofficial clothing optional areas around the lagoon and "bluff".
It's a bit of a hike if you want to take an ice chest or more than a day pack. I would classify the hike as easy and possible in sandals but suggest shoes.
