Lighthouse Point

One of the main hangouts along the Santa Cruz coast for tourists and locals alike. On a nice day, you'll always find tons of people walking by on the path, sitting in the lawn, or standing at the fence watching the waves. In the winter, it's a great place to watch surfers, and in the summer, it's a great place to hang out in the sun. There is also a monthly food truck event on Friday nights during the tourist season. Parking is always scarce, so try to park in the neighborhood and walk in, or just bike along West Cliff

Very windy. But the view is great, the beach all have white around the coastal area. Beautiful views along the Beach.

Excellent visit during the week, lots of places to park lots of places to visit. Great bike ride all the way to Santa Cruz Beach and boardwalk.

Wonderful views. During the proper season, a great place to view grey whales and their calves. I've seen them come in very close in the morning, seemingly to show off their calves to the onlookers standing on the walkway.
A super place from which to watch the surfers, the pier, and the sailboats.
Usually, there are a variety of performers on the lighthouse grounds. Watch the fire spinners in the evening, take in the atmosphere.
