We have loved the focus on life skills and appreciate the effort to create a culturally diverse curriculum. Each of the teachers is a unique gem.

(February 24, 2017, 2:53 pm)Wonderful school full of people that want to educate the whole child. Education is based on community, engagement, and solid educational principles. They take the best of Waldorf, Montessori, Classic and Contemporary education and mash it all together to best educate your child. We have been to schools in Sonoma, Santa Cruz, and Orange County (all highly rated schools) and we like Village the most. Our children are thriving and they feel part of a community.

We feel so blessed to have found a school that looks at honors and supports the whole child and where so much value is placed on our environment, the arts, our humanity and global community in curriculum development. Each of the teachers are inspired, inspiring and full of open-hearted passion for the children. Both of my (very different) children thrive here!

I love that the kids learn to garden, cook, and sew, very traditional skills that no longer are being taught in most schools. They also have lots of opportunity to explore art and music. It really is more then just a school it is a community. We are truly blessed to have found this school for our children.
