They have an inability to hear when speaking to them. They keep talking and don't stop. I was transferred to a "manager", who strangely was cut off. I dialed again and couldn't get through to anyone who knew anything. They appear to be crooked "debt collectors". They are trying to collect money from me for Verizon. I have 3 consecutive statements from Verizon, showing that Verizon owed me the money. I also have a photocopy of the check and the check stub that Verizon sent to me. I asked them to send to me a valid bill from Verizon that show that I owe the amount being claimed. The idiots didn't seem to understand. Either Chase Receivables is crooked - OR - Verizon is crooked!!

I found this number referenced on another forum under the Chase Receivables listing of 707-940-3000. This is a collection agency by the name of Chase out of CA. They will call with this number if you block the 1 800 number they call from.
