  After years of tutoring, I can really see an improvement in my school experience. Not only am I ahead of the curriculum, but I actually enjoy and am motivated to do better in school. Kalven makes you really see how capable you are. He encourages students without making them feel pressured or stressed. Although we go at the rate we feel comfortable with, he does the right amount of pushing to put us out of our comfort zones and makes us better. Kalven helps make us better in not only math and English, but in every subject. It is extremely affordable compared to other tutoring centers in this area. I can honestly say, his tutoring has made me more eager to do my best because of how much progress I've made. The energy is good here because everyone is so understanding, patient, and just see you want to do well.

  There is no doubt that my grades have improved since working with Kalven. More importantly, he establishes and continuously reinforces confidence and a drive to succeed in every student he works with. Kalven is genuine in that he has a huge smile when his students are working hard to reach their full potential. His rates and guaranteed success are unbeatable. With the perfect balance of discipline and fun, there is never a time when I'm not looking forward to my next lesson.

  Working with Kalven has made me a more educated student. I have more pride in all my school work and even a little social skills. Some of the things I got a head start on lots of the things I studied in school, grammar rules, how to organize my writing, and solving algebra equations. 👍 👍 I recommend Valley First 5 out of 5

  Tutoring with Kalven has made me a more focused and knowledgeable student. I have more confidence in my math class after he taught me all I needed for my current and future math classes. Some of the things I've learned during tutoring are the same things I do at school later, like word problems, writing essays, and graphing. I recommend Valley First for its tutoring in all subjects
