I stopped shopping here years ago due to the crooked, rude owners. Since the guys at red barn bought it, it is a new store and getting better every week. Absolutely reccomend it.

It is now called Red Barn Corner Store love the store and love the people that work there, but I also did care about the store when it was Ave Liquor which it was for many many yrs.????????????
It's now called Red Barn corner store and they r a pleasant friendly helpful and have personality I known the family since they first came to ventura and one thing about the family they treat u like fMiky now Martin the night clerk will have u laughing or smiling as u Walk out the door so I rate the store over the 5 star so go and be yourself u will c what I'm talking about. Enjoy shopping make it ur number one corner store for all u need.
WELL WELL WELL..anyone who grew up in the area, knows very well that the previous owner doesn't deserve a five star rating!! Customer service was terrible to say the least! (Think: person behind counter profiling customers and ranting about liberal America meanwhile fully ready to exercise his right to bear arms) Hostile and intimidating much??...BUT! Its about to do a complete 360 thanks to the NEW owners who are dedicating themselves to giving this place a new facelift and completely changing the vibe and making it a welcoming and pleasant experience!
