Surfer's Knoll

Found ourselves the perfect spot to enjoy a couple more hours at the beach before heading back on our journey home to Idaho! splashed in the waves, flew our kite, did some digging in the sand! It was a wonderful afternoon! Showers for rinsing sand off, bathrooms were there, very publicly used. Friendly faces strolled by, seeming to enjoy their time in the sand as we were, no one was bothersome! Thanks for the good time

This is a my favorite place to go and have easy access to the beach as well as you are right across the street from the Village Harbor with fun shops, an arcade, and delicious restaurants. Parking is free and if the lot is full, you can park along the street.

We drove from our hotel to this beach at sunset and we were not at all disappointed. The surf was high and the sky was absolutely stunning! watched a few brave surfers charge the waves , one with out a wet-suit , the water was so cold , but he was surfing any how , great place to watch the surfers . You can bring your lunch and watch the surfer and people biking, walking or running by. Great bike path goes thru it.

Easy to get a great sunset at the Ventura Harbor. We brought an out of town friend for fish and a stroll on the beach. Good parking close by and a rinse-off station for the sand. Some fire pits being enjoyed before curfew.
