(May 20, 2019, 1:43 am)The harbor has lots to do for all ages, from the carousel to the hat shop, to all the food and beverage places. They have lots of events to get the community involved. The beach is gorgeous all times of the year. Andria's fish is my fav and been going there for 20 years..if you have a few hours go play at the harbor.

(May 15, 2019, 1:27 pm)I like to walk around this horseshoe shaped harbor walk for exercise. More public restrooms is great. I usually go from the yacht club to the Channel Islands National Parks museum and back. Many good restaurants. If you SCUBA there is a shop there with expert help. Seems to be very few of these shops where you can get air refills in a short time because of their high tech equipment.

(May 15, 2019, 10:13 am)This place is really nice, especially for tourists. There's lots of fun little shops to check out and yummy, cute food. It's very pretty, right next to the ocean. You can take a walk on the harbor while hanging out and taking a peek in the places along the way.

(April 24, 2019, 10:55 pm)Ventura harbor is a very nice place to spend a day, or at least an afternoon. The area is loaded with shops, restaurants and bars. Channel Island National Park visitor center is also in this area and worth checking out. The beach is very nice but beware, the water is FREEZING. I went there during the Labor Day heat wave in southern CA and the water was so cold, it felt like needles against my skin. Lots of swimmers and surfers, but they all have wet suits on, so be careful. Enjoy!
