El Escorpion Park

An Official Hiking Review:

El Escorpion Park is a haven for the explorer. With many paths to explore, the difficulty of the hikes are up to the hikers themselves. Beautiful scenery, and amazing landscape.

Too soon after the Woosley Fire to get a true feel of the area. After about a 1/2 mile back, a sign says the trail is closed. We hiked up to the Caves

It’s very relaxing to walk with your dogs this place in my opinion is beautiful

This is an excellent hike with a climb. There are 2 main paths from the start of the trail. There is no parking lot but you can park on the main street for free. The initial walk is level and smooth. There are 2 main trails near the start. The more difficult goes straight up a hill with a pretty steep and slippery slope. Once at the top of the hill there is a trail that continues along the top of the ridges and leads to a cave trail which leads down. The other trail continues straight and mostly level with a few little hills, then meets up with the cave and allows a connection between the two trails. The pictures are post the Woolsey fire.

Really nice place. Of course it's up to you to make it hard or easy in yourself. This hike you can either go hard or easy if you continue straight It will be easy, if you turn left up the Hill you're well have a good time going up the hill. The view is amazing.
