(November 29, 2022, 3:07 am)This is THE BEST restaurant in Davis. The food is consistently always delicious and is clearly made with great care and skill. The food from Shanghai Town never disappoints and gives me that feeling you get when you’re eating something you grew up with, something from home. It satisfies your belly and your heart.
To those whom complain about periodic slow service, I say, “the greatest things come to those who wait”. Get over it. This is the hardest working family in the business, and they turn out fantastic food almost every day of the year. I’ve never once regretted a meal from Shanghai Town, and I’ve been eating there for over ten years and I’ve had them provide food for several of my birthday parties. I can’t imagine not having this incredible place in my life.
