(August 3, 2022, 11:31 am)Nobody really wants to go to a VA hospital or any hospital. That being said, this VA sets the bar high in all aspects. The staff is friendly and almost all the people I worked with enjoy their jobs and truly care about their patients. The facility itself is impressive. It doesn't feel like a stuffy old hospital. The main entrance area is an impressive sight to see. The tall entryway runs the length of the building and acts as a connection between all the buildings. There are historical displays in along the first floor giving you something more to see than just floor and wall.
At first I was not willing to make the drive to Denver to go to this facility, but now that I experienced it, I will be more willing to make the drive in the future. The staff made what could have been a very rough day, a more tolerable experience. They have done well and I will recommend any vet who needs help, do not hesitate to seek help here. Just please help keep the facility nice. -
