  This is probably my favorite business in the Denver Metro Area. All of the staff are incredibly thoughtful, considerate, gentle, and obvious animal lovers. I have a large dog (120 lbs) named Cody. Cody has had skin problems due to too much time in water, and he also slips all over our wood floors due to naturally long nail beds and long fur between his toes. In the past the best we could hope for was to get him a quick bath and a nail trim for as long as he would tolerate it. He didn’t do the drier. I have been taking him to wag n wash and working with Caroline most of the time. She has gone above and beyond on every occasion to get Cody to be comfortable enough to tolerate more and more. We now go every 2 weeks. I bathe him (thanks to her help his skin is cleared and his mildew problem is in the past), I can now get him at least half way dry, and we do a “paw spa” where he gets dremmeled, the hair between his pads shaved, and the tops of his feet trimmed. It has taken time and patience but he is a happier, more confident dog. He doesn’t slip all over the floors. He isn’t itchy and smelly. He gets so excited in bath day to go see his favorite friends at wag n wash. Thanks for all you do - you guys are wonderful- all of you have helped us in one way or another- I have never had a bad experience. And with the distancing and masks, I feel safe to continue to bring my dog in every 2 weeks.

  I highly recommend Wag N' Wash. I called this morning to inquire about the self service options they have available. The first thing I always ask is if they allow and can accommodate aggressive animals as my boy can be quite the handful. The lady that answered the phone was extremely polite and understanding. She said that she would ensure that we had a tub in the back to prevent too much traffic during our visit. She also said that she would notify the staff that we were coming and ask that they did not approach to lessen the stress. When we arrived she held the door open for us and assisted us to our bathing area without any incident. The gentleman in back was very considerate and made sure that he never encroached on my boys personal space while still making himself available if I needed any assistance. I would also like to note the convenience of their services. For an incredibly reasonable price, we were supplied with everything we needed for the bath, including leave in conditioner and cologne for after the bath. They offer a drying area that is equipped with dryers that actually work which I have found uncommon at self serve dog washes. Not to mention the fact that they clean the tubs and other grooming areas after you are done. Other places I have been require you to clean when you are done. I felt guilty leaving them with the mess that was made bathing my German Shepherd that is blowing his coat. Having a dog with these issues can be incredibly discouraging at times, especially when a simple task such as a bath requires so much planning and consideration. The staff at Wag N' Wash made this grooming experience a great one, without any judgement. We will most definitely be back!

  We came in today with our chocolate lab, Luna. It was a fantastic experience to say the least. We did a self wash and a nail trim.
  
  While washing her, an employee I didn't catch the name of offered complimentary treats "to make it a good experience for her." They were freeze dried high quality turkey that she gobbled down in seconds, and we left with a bag of. Might I add they were very well priced! (Especially for a smaller, high quality store such as this!) It really did help her have a good time, and shows just a small fragment of the care that goes into this place.
  
  After her wash was the nails. Luna doesn't like her paws being touched, and due to COVID it has been a long time since her nails were done. Carolyn (I hope I spelled that right!!) Was an absolute ROCK STAR. She was so kind, and really got Luna to relax. Carolyn was not afraid to get down and meet Luna where she was to get it done well. Carolyn was so careful with her brittle nails and knew when to give her a break. You could really tell she knew how to do this well, and cared about Luna having a good time.
  
  While i mention Carolyn by name, all of the other employees we talked to were incredibly sweet and helpful.
  
  Luna left feeling so much happier than when she came in, and so did we! Everything was well priced, and it was overall a great time. We will be making this our new go-to stop, and you should consider making it yours, too!
