  Shot out to LT at the Leetsdale location! He provided excellent customer service to me. I had recently took my car to get body work done and those people neglected to put the top back on my battery. The top had moved around and was making all kinds of noise. LT figured it out and problem was solved in just a matter of minutes before the shoo closed. Thanks LT at Brakes Plus! You and your crew rock!

  Shot out to LT at the Leetsdale location! He found what was rattling in my car. I experienced excellent customer service and will be back when my car needs anymore work done! What had happened was I just got my car back from Maaco on 17th and Chambers, and whoever needed to use my battery neglected to put the top back over it. So it was rattling all over the place. Thanks to LT he fixed the problem and my car sounds much better!

  I found myself in a bit of a predicament today when I walked out of my pediatrician’s office with my two young boys only to find my tire flat with a huge screw in it. Thankfully, I was right around the corner from Brakes Plus and popped in to see if they could help. Steve was kind enough to personally put on my spare tire and make sure I was safe to drive home with my boys. I was so impressed with the level of customer service and wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again if I needed more work done on my car. Thank you to Steve for saving the day!

  Went to brakes plus because the thermostat on my car went out and was setting off the check engine light. My car needed the repair and I was nervous about the cost. The guys at breaks plus were extremely kind to me and worked with me (allowed me to use coupons) to get the best price for their services. Daniel and Steve were exceptionally kind and understanding. It’s can be especially hard as a woman to try and get good service when it comes to cars (male mechanics constantly try and up sell me and charge me more). BUT brakes plus is an exception, would recommend to anyone but I would especially recommend to other women who are looking to get good service from kind people for a fair price.

  I have taken my car here multiple times and these guys are honest and hard working. Even fixed my door for free and gave me a Discount when I had to put 2k into my car. Highly recommend!

  You won't find a better, more reliable, or trustworthy mechanic in town. Rich (GM) and his team are open and honest about what needs to be done, what they suggest should be done and what they recommend could be done or left for later, as well as the ramifications of each. Just go there, you won't be disappointed.
  I am a do-it yourself kind of guy, I do most of the routine maintenance myself, but I recently had to replace the ABS Hydraulic Control Module on my Ford Escape 2008, and the service I received from Rich and his team throughout this 2 week process (prolonged due to waiting for parts) was top notch. I enjoyed my experience so much that I am constantly looking for people to point in his direction. I hope that by reading this review YOU will be one of those people.

  So far I’ve had great and seemingly honest experiences here. First time I went to get my brakes checked thinking they needed to be replaced they let me know they were fine but needed 2 wheel bearings changed. The first I had replaced but they said I could wait a bit on the second which was helpful. They are patient and willing to explain everything that’s going on before doing anything. They also help you out by applying the best coupon for your services. Just for the good service, I’ve been taking my car and boyfriends car for anything even just an oil change. Thanks Rich and team!
