  I was like many people and didn't believe chiropractic did anything beside temporary fixes. I was very suspicious. But after having strain in my hamstrings/ bands, lower back pain and bad posture for so long I knew I needed to do something about it. I even went to physical therapy for a year and it made matters worse. I decided this office couldn't hurt, and was I right! I am very impressed by the staff and wholistic approach of the care. I was received great self-knowledge (and some nutritional coaching as well) that greatly assisted me. The particular care of Dr. Chavez is very focused and intentional (I'll let him tell you his technique) but it works fantastically. I very much appreciated the way in which I could see progress and healing. I went from twice every week to once every month and we are progressing to even less frequency. This is an office you will not regret going to!

  I brought my 3 month old son to Dr. Chavez for a severe case of torticollis and a blocked tear duct. We had been in physical therapy since he was 2 weeks old and weren't seeing much improvement. After the initial adjustment, I could tell that he felt better, though his head still had quite a significant tilt. After the third adjustment, his eye had cleared completely and he was holding his head upright for the first time since he was two weeks old! Dr. Chavez is great with him and always gets him to smile. The adjustments are so gentle that he immediately falls asleep afterwards. If you have a young infant, I highly recommend taking them to see Dr. Chavez. You won't regret it.

  I started coming here when I was 30 weeks pregnant. I couldn't bend down. It took me 14 points to turn from side to side at night. I was basically limping. I thought this was just normal pregnancy pain. I was WRONG. After seeing Dr. Chavez it was like night and day!! I could bend and turn with EASE. I had my agility back!! And, the pain was almost COMPLETELY gone. Ladies, this was a life saver! I've since been enjoying my pregnancy. Thank you SO MUCH Dr. Chavez!

  Nucca is different from the usual chiropractic (I had previously gone to a traditional "twist and crack" chiropractor for about 5 years) with less residual pain following each adjustment. Dr Chavez has been treating me for a year (with the Nucca technique) - my neck and shoulder pain has been greatly relieved and the adjustments are holding well with visits every 2-3 weeks.
  
  Additionally, my body and alignment feel pretty good for the entire 2-3 weeks between visits...as opposed to traditional chiropractic where I often found myself in pain within the 2 weeks between visits. Vita Nova has provided truer preventive care and maintenance beyond just pain management. It is a journey for which your body will thank you!
