Steven was recommended to me by a friend who found his services to be very helpful. I found Steven to be professional and respectful and his services to be very cost effective. He even worked with me on a sliding scale, it was so helpful and gave me the ability to really follow through with what I was working on. Steven became a thoughtful and honest confident in my efforts to make changes to my personal and professional life. I see that there are folks here who are not as pleased with his services. One does not find oneself in Steven's office when one is thriving and everything is going great in life. I wonder if some of these folks are struggling with a 'shoot the messenger' mentality. Steven is a stellar individual, please do not let a disgruntled few keep you from reaching out to him if you need mediation or support.

Steven has been an exemplary guide through one of my most challenging life chapters, divorce. Steven's gift lies in his ability to help clients think critically and clearly about their circumstances and reason their way through challenges. He is very efficient and cost effective in the delivery of expert service. For those willing to do the work to improve their lot in life there is no better guide.

I've worked with Steven on a number of personal and professional development issues over the years. I can easily say that it was money and time well spent.

As with any therapist, you need to shop around and make sure that your communications styles match. I personally tried 3 other therapists prior to Steven. For me, his directness and "no-BS" approach worked very well. He listened, asked insightful questions, and then reflected and reframed my statements in a way that helped me understand how I was getting in my own way sometimes. It was the psychological education and insight I never got from my parents or the school system.

The results have been fantastic for me, both in my career and in my personal relationships.

I have found Steven to be kind and insightful. Both my son and myself have benefited from knowing him, and we knowing him. Personally, I have profited from his perspective, in both group settings and one on one. My son also considers him a good sounding board. I gave found him to be an excellent friend and advocate.

Steven has worked with our family over a few years on different issues and has brought us all closer together, with better understanding of each others needs and wants. In particular, our daughter, who saw Steven separately on a different issue when she was a teeenager, has emerged as a confident forward thinking young woman.
What impressed all of us and what we appreciate most from Steven was his no BS approach and will call out someone if he feels he is being snowballed. Thanks Steven for all you've done.
