  Well, funeral memorials are not conducive to great reviews, but, the room was large, clean and available. Membership in church was not required.

  When my family moved to the Boulder Valley region in 2016, finding a church that centered its teachings around the worth of every person and invested it's energy to achieve social justice were just as important as its community. I'm grateful we found all of this at UUCB.

  For a long time I thought there wasn't a religion for me. I believe deeply in love, justice, democracy, equality, compassion, and spiritual growth, but don't care for the dogma of most religions where we are discouraged from thinking for ourselves. Then I found Unitarian Universalism.
  
  I moved to Boulder about 12 years ago and started attending this church. The church seemed stagnant back then, but over the past several years has evolved into an amazing, powerful, supportive, growing, vibrant, loving church. I continue to be astonished at how willing the congregation is to challenge themselves to be more inclusive, compassionate, open-minded, respectful, and working for justice. Especially in these divisive and fearful times, this church provides a safe place for me to find hope and supportive community.

  UUCB has been a lifesaver for me. I was in need of safe, mindful, purpose-oriented human connection and have fallen in love with the people at this church over the course of the last year. Lots of opportunities to get involved with social and environmental justice, immigration and racial justice reform and allyship, and it's an inclusive and safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA community. I marched in the Denver Pride parade with these guys and helped man the booth at Boulder Pride.
  
  Last spring, I attended great workshops on gender education and how to talk about gender with children and families. As a trans man, this church's support, love and acceptance has been critical for realizing how I can be fully in the world while loving my whole self.
  
  Lots of families and kids of all ages. Really cool education stuff for youth (and adults) that allows them to explore and craft their own beliefs without dogma or guilt. An incredible place to dive deeper into yourself and the interconnected web of life.

  What an amazing place! I've been to many UU churches in the country and there is something special going on here in Boulder! From the warmth of the greeters to the aesthetics of the sanctuary - the sense of beloved community! The congregation sang out strong as one which was so inspiring, the message from the minister compelling and life affirming. I am going back!
