I normally work from home, and trying to focus on anything or videoconference with clients would have been really hard with all the noise, shaking, and dust. Their day pass drop-in rate is very reasonable, the space was very clean and comfortable, including good air conditioning (it was 90+ the week I was there). I had plenty of room to set up a second monitor, and leaving my laptop unattended to visit the restroom felt completely safe.. both things that would have been tricky at a coffee shop. So glad we have this resource in our area!

It's a godsend to those in need of a productive work space and social atmosphere. Plus it's an asset to downtown Lafayette.

(May 1, 2016, 6:26 pm)I had the opportunity to work in one of the private offices at Confluence SBC, and, oh, do I have great memories from my time there. The people are wonderful, it's a good community and Tom (and the gang) are always happy to help if something comes up with the office. I've missed the socials - BBQ lunches, happy hour on the porch and fun chats by the water cooler. Not to mention, Confluence puts on some great events to learn more in various fields.

(April 28, 2016, 11:34 pm)I've been at Confluence for almost a year now and it's a great place to meet people and get work done without worrying about negotiating a lease or trouble shooting the internet. The space is big and bright, and there is a separate meeting area and lounge. There are lots of interesting people working on different things. There's coffee and sugar free sodas (and also regular sodas if you're into that). The location is convenient to restaurants, cafes, and the rec center.
