(February 24, 2019, 4:37 pm)I had a soaked flagpole drop on my right hand injuring my middle finger drastically. Initially a Denver surgeon recommended by my niece said my hand would heal on its own. After 6 months, a terrific amount of pain plus worsening effects from Denver, I went to Dr. Pater. He immediately said I needed surgery & did so on December 4, 2018. Upon waking I had minimal pain which, after numerous surgeries for other health issues, was amazing. The entire process from Dr. Pater, his Assistants & the O.T. in their Therapy - the entire healing process has been amazing. Dr. Pater's surgery was amazing as I now, as of February, have complete usage of my right hand/middle finger. I am truly in awe of how well the entire process went. I need a 2nd surgery on the thumb of my right hand, due to 2 previous failed surgeries from 2 different hand surgeons - one in Fort Collins,, the other at Porter Hospital. With Dr. Pater's care, concern and skill, have no doubt that I'll finally have full use of my right thumb. I highly recommend Dr. Pater & am most thankful that I've found him. I've already recommended him to others and will continue to do so with full confidence that all will go beautifully!
