Horstmann House B&B

Horstmann House is great! Clean, nice, better than I expected!

I booked this marvelous Bed & Breakfast last minute while I had a friend in from out of tun, thus to avoid the I-70 ski traffic. Left to my own ways without guests I would have simply made the ski drive twice as I live down in Denver but wanted to make the trip a bit more relaxing for my friend. The beautiful remolded home located in picturesque & Victorian Georgetown is nestled in the valley just about a block or two away form the shops and cafes of once bustling Georgetown Colorado. The three bedrooms are quite spacious and include some of the most comfortable bedding that I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. The bedding even included a heated electric blanket for the cold winter night. The home also comes complete with a meticulously clean hot tub for guests to relax after a long day of (insert outdoor recreational activity hear). If reading is more your style of relaxation, the library on the second floor will entertain you for hours, filled with historical texts and books on Clear Creek County and Colorado. The proprietor, George & Rita are warm, inviting, & gracious hosts who will prepare you an elegant assortment for breakfast. I must pay tribute to the best cinnamon rolls I have had the pleasure of tasting. We had originally intended to leave early morning to make it back to Arapahoe Basin, but ended up enjoying endless rounds of freshly made coffee and conversation with George & Rita in the living room. This was an incredibly personal and memorable stay. I highly encourage all good people to pay Horstmann House a visit.

Great rooms, Great food, Great company!

Lovely home with great views. Good breakfasts. Somewhat hard to find as 9th street doesn't go all through town and GPS did not seem to know this. Easy to get to once you figure out how to navigate the streets. Lots of charm.
