(July 12, 2019, 8:49 pm)This is the only hot springs I go to in Colorado. It’s older and might be considered “run down” by some but I love it. The tubs are hot and the prices are good. They are doing construction throughout the town of Idaho Springs and currently the road to the hot springs is being worked on, so plan ahead!

(July 10, 2019, 11:25 am)I have been coming to Indian Hot Springs now for 8 years. Every time I pass through the High Rockies I stopped for a hot soak. They are geothermal caves underground and the water is heated anywhere from 105 degrees to 111. The staff here make you feel like you are at home. Rooms are reasonably priced and they offer massages as well. I highly recommend!

(June 28, 2019, 8:54 pm)I LITERALLY block off one week out of the year to visit this serene, calming, and therapeutic natural beauty. You could spend an hour in the pool area and feel your stresses melt away.
Originally I had only planned to stay for a few hours, but after 3 hours had passed, I had decided I wanted to stay in their motel. Even at closing time, the staff was very understanding and helpful with booking me a room, and refunding us the charge for the pool included with the motel stay.

Indian Hot Springs offers public and private tubs indoors and outdoors with a community heated pool and lodging. Since it also is a part of the town, it is only a few minutes to walk to restaurants and shops. Great for a weekend or longer depending on what your needs. Lots of outdoor activities in the nearby area (hiking, biking, skiing, camping, just to name a few). Regardless of how you enjoy your time, I always enjoy the evening in an outdoor private hot spring looking at the stars.
