Cherry Creek Ace Hardware

I called to ask a few questions about evaporative coolers and James was SO helpful. He answered all of my questions with expertise and kindness. It felt like I had called my dad- in a good way. I felt really cared for and respected. Thanks so much James!

I’m writing this review to talk specifically about an employee named Adam. Today I had to help a confused Bird who got stuck in a glass elevator space, 4 stories high at the office complex I work at. The poor little guy had been flying about for 2 days, no water, no food and with the heat lately, he was close to death. I called everyone I could think of, animal control, the building engineers, friends, even my fiancé. Everyone laughed or felt slightly bad, and eventually said there’s nothing you can do. I went to an apartment complex nearby, borrowed their pool net, it was exhausting, but I finally caught the little bird and set him free. Of course I cried profusely, I was tired, emotionally drained and yet very proud of myself. I returned the net. There have been several birds prior that did not survive and I feel badly I wasn’t aware of these unfortunate occurrences. I decided then and there to make a net that could be kept ready and waiting should another opportunity come along, and they will, the glass basically keeps the birds from finding their way back out. I went to Ace Cherry Creek and upon coming in, Adam greeted me. I explained what I needed, he didn’t say you can’t do this, it’s silly or anything like that. Instead, he helped me find several items to build the net that I’m sure will save many a bird to come. Adam from the bottom of my heart, you believed in me when no else would, your creativity and knowledge of your store and assistance in finding the items available to build the net was exceptional. The saying "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks." Doesn’t even begin to touch on how helpful, thoughtful and passionate you were. You impressed me sir. I will never forget that, I am committed to making this Ace where I shop going forward. Thank you Adam and thank you Ace Hardware Cherry Creek for employing with such a brilliant, caring and dedicated employee. I am thrilled with my experience. S.Bates

Went in for a extra key on a Sat...auto makers make it super expensive but at Ace they cut it by half price if not cheaper. Didn't know they only program Mon thru Fri 12 to 3 but that's not their fault I should have called. So someone will go back for me Monday. They allowed me to pay and put me on the board for an appt. The person needs to only provide the receipt and name. Awesome customer service!!! Now the only down side is left turns in and left turns out on Holly...again not their fault you may just have to wait on the kindness of others to let you in or out...it can bottle neck cause some folks can't take 2 seconds to be decent. Love the staff and keep doing what you do!!!

Every time I come in to Ace I hope that Joe is on his shift! Joe has helped me so much with all of my home improvement work having recently purchased a condo in the past year. Whenever I had issues that YouTube videos could not answer I would go to Ace on Holly prepared with pictures and information/measurements and Joe helped me solve pretty much everything I couldn’t handle on my own. Would highly recommend reaching out to Joe if you ever get the chance!

Went in for paint and a scrubber to remove paint off of a floor. James was incredibly helpful as I did not think about using a wire brush on ceramic floors would scratch them! He recommended a paint stripping pad and got me the paint I needed all while trying to make sure some low life didn’t steal from his store! Awesome job James appreciate the help
