Dr. Stephen Petty cares for both of my 90 yr. old parents. My mom has been blind with macular degeneration (AMD) since she was 68. Unfortunately, the Avastin and Eylea shots used to treat the internal bleeding of AMD weren't available when she lost her eyesight. My dad's AMD started in one eye a couple of years ago. The Eylea shots administered by Dr. Petty have pretty much stopped the internal bleeding in this eye, thereby retarding advanced onset of (AMD). This has had a profound affect on his attitude and ability to stay active. My folks love Dr. Petty. He is an outstanding physician who's compassion and patience is appreciated immensely.
