(January 29, 2019, 5:28 pm)The food was amazing. If you eat at a lot of Mexican food restaurants, you know that the chips and salsa can make or break the whole experience. You will not be disappointed here! I highly recommend the Mexican Candies as an appetizer...wow.
I'd love to give a 5 star review, but the service was just alright. The waitress seemed to think she was doing us a favor by waiting on us. She seemed irritated that we weren't buying drinks, and even more irritated that two adults were sharing an entree. She didn't offer or bring an extra plate so that the meal could be split.
The woman who brought out chips and salsa and water was very friendly. The busser who was clearing tables was also very friendly. Unfortunately the "too-good to wait on you" attitude of the waitress spoiled the experience overall. -

(October 30, 2018, 8:50 pm)Recently moved to the neighborhood and was curious about La Fogata after driving past it several times. The decor is distinctly Mexican while also being modern. Service was quick, we sat at the bar and Rene was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Atmosphere seems laid back for customers, but I can tell the servers are on top of things.
We came to check out taco Tuesday, but will definitely be back for some more complex dishes soon!
