I have been going to Dr. Wilner for the past 10 years. He and everyone in his office is just amazing!! My family goes to him and only him because he and his team are that great!
Dr. Wilner & team are awesome / great people. They care, they're very professional, efficient and go above and beyond.
My first encounter was at the urgent care clinic when I came back from my home state after having hernia surgery, and got bronchitis. His staff at the urgent care clinic, especially PA Church, was some of the best care I've ever had. She was super empathetic, and even went out of her way to see where I could get my prescriptions the cheapest (no insurance).
Dr. Wilner also saw me a few months later for an infection in the hernia site. I didn't want to take the antibiotic he was going to prescribe for it as I'd had bad experiences with it before, but it was the only thing left for him to do. Since I didn't want to take it he referred me to an infectious disease physician. People complain about being referred on here, but that's what a responsible doctor does, not attempt to placate your feelings. Based on that I chose him as my PCP. He does give a s**t about you, contrary to some of the posts on here.
Doctors want you to come back for refills to see if your condition is stable and that you don't need further evaluation or a change of meds. He's not doing it to rake in the dough, otherwise he'd be charging more per visit. Trust me, I'm tighter than two coats of paint, but if the doctor needs to see me, then that's when I'm going to do.
