(May 25, 2015, 10:19 am)While vacationing in Sedona, Arizona in January 2015, my husband, another couple and I visited the Renee Taylor Gallery in Tlaquepaque Shopping Center. Several of Laurel's sculptor's were displayed. I was immediately drawn to "Pause For Reflection". As a general rule, I don't collect or purchase sculptor pieces but I was very drawn to this piece. Upon returning to our condo for the evening, my husband began doing some web searches and contacted Laurel directly.
She had a "Pause for Reflection" in her studio in Sedalia, Colorado. As my husband and the other husband had driven from Minnesota to Arizona for this vacation (the wife's flew), they decided to drive home through Sedalia and pick up my "Pause for Reflection". She gave them a tour while they were there.
"Pause for Reflection" now sits in a shelf that is visible from the entrance of my house, and when you walk into my kitchen. I have never enjoyed a piece more than this one.

(May 22, 2015, 2:19 pm)WOW! Wall Street Waltz is breathtaking. Laurel was a gem to work with. She always answered the phone and and shipped right away. No surprises except for the excellent personalized service. We first saw her work at the Little Rock sculpture garden, where she is part of their permanent collection, and inquired about her dancing bunnies we saw there. That led use to Wall Street Waltz. It is as beautiful as she said it would be. We feel so lucky to have a piece by this outstanding and innovative collected artist. All of our friends love it too!
