I've taken around 10 CPR classes over the years and this was by far the best. Donya is a tremendous instructor and the practice mannequins are unlike anything I've ever seen. The real-time feedback they provide for the students is just fantastic. I also appreciated the extra time Donya took with my son after he performed poorly on the written test at the end of the class. She read through every question with him, along with every answer choice, to make sure he understood them. Once she did this, he got every single answer correct! This was above and beyond service and was appreciated more than you can imagine!!

Taking an accelerated two week course can be very intimidating. However, Donya is an excellent teacher and guides you through each step. I recently passed her class, and honestly passing the test was easy as long as you listened! My fiance recommended me to Avanza, and I must say we both enjoyed our separate classes. Totally recommend this place to anyone interested being a CNA!

Absolutely amazing school for all your CNA needs! Whether you are going for a parent CNA certification or you need an active license for your RN degree, Avanza is the place to go! Donya is a phenomenal teacher, I can’t recommend her enough! She made learning fun and the(sometimes) difficult material easy to learn. Hollie is super nice with helping you get all the correct information and getting you enrolled. If you are debating on whether this school is right for you, do it! I promise you won’t regret it! I took an accelerated program and absolutely loved it! Donnya was an amazing instructor. She made sure to give you all the resources needed to pass final and the state exam. She always responded quickly if i had a question for her outside of the classroom. Highly recommend to anyone looking to become a CNA.

I took the CNA class here with Donya as my instructor. She was an amazing teacher who made sure each of her students got the hands on individual learning to be as successful and confident in the workforce as they were in school. If you were struggling with anything or having a hard time understanding something she made sure to go over it with you step by step until you felt confident that you knew it. She tells everyone of her students that they can come into the school anytime to practice their skills and if they have questions she is always there to help. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for caring and compassionate instructors who are there to help you every step along the way. This course is far from easy but with the instructors at Avanza they help make sure you are prepared to take your state test and join the workforce!!
