  WOW! What an amazing experience! To say I've made progress on my self image, self worth and overall well being is an understatement. I was full of such dread, fear, and utter hatred for myself before working with Aurora Umana-Arko. I just finished my last day, as I'm moving to another state and the only sadness I have is that I didn't have more time to continue working with this amazing therapist/woman. What a blessing she has been in my life. I'm truly a more confident and overall better woman after working with her. Today, I can look myself in the mirror and know I'm a good person that deserves all the beauty life has to offer. Through EMDR/meditative tools, I was able to process my childhood/adolescent trauma, fear, self contempt, and regain my spiritual connection with God. If you're looking for a therapist who is compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and willing to trudge with you through the darkness of your trauma...she's your therapist! Thank you Aurora for helping me to become the woman I was always meant to be! I am eternally grateful for you! I am a SURVIVOR!

  I have been seeing Shannon Matlock for a year now and she is Amazing! She has really helped me develop skills to help me in the areas of my life I've always struggled with. Talking to her comes so natural, she is a perfect fit for me. I would recommend Overcomers to anyone looking for personable counseling!

  Finding the right fit is hard. I've settled for many years. Cristyn Smith is always on time, flexible, and challenges me in ways that are compassionate and allow me the agency to make positive impacts on my own life. She works hard to find the right psychiatrists, psychologists... trauma therapists... anything you need.

  Sunshine is very knowledgeable and insightful. A session with her is more like talking to a wise friend who really has your best interest at heart. She has truly helped me to have revelations about certain aspects of my life.
