Western Museum of Mining & Industry

Totally enjoyed the museum. Lots to see and to learn. Staff was very informative.

Went to the museum for their pumpkin patch and we had a great time! Loved exploring the grounds and picking pumpkins. Also go to play some games and watch a Blacksmith working his magic!!

This little museum was surprisingly interesting and very well done. They offer a fairly quick guided tour that even the children enjoyed, and their old steam engines now operate on compressed air and are quite impressive. They've built some extraordinary structures on their grounds.

This museum I at first thought was going to be a small town feel museum, but it exceeded my expectations! I enjoyed the guided adult tour, the tour guide was awesome! The museum was very unique and interesting and the machines actually work which is shocking and cool! I will definitely tell everyone I know to go to this museum!

My sons and I went there while we were in Colorado. There you will find rocks, gems that have been excavated some years ago and some new ones as well. They have several old mining machines in the property and inside that range from fifty to over 100 years old. It's awesome to see how mining was done years ago. There's also a section where you can " Pine for gold" inside. It's truly amazing. There is plenty of parking.
