Goldfield RV Park

Park manager was amazing. Very clean laundry and bathroom/shower facility. Ideal spot if you are in Colorado Springs on vacation like we were. The downfall is that you will be packed in there. We couldn't let our awning out without touching the RV next to us. We stayed 4 days.

We were a little apprehensive to stay after reading reviews and with the overall 3.5 rating. Booking something from across the country you never know what you're going to get! However we were pleasantly surprised and delighted when we arrived. Now I don't hesitate to give this place 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a week stay here and and were in town for a wedding at Garden of the Gods.
Goldfield is hidden amongst an urban landscape and convenient to everything Colorado Springs has to offer. The gravel lot was well kept and entire campground is clean. Very minimal road noise despite being right near the road.
Top notch service at the office. Trent is the best. He really cares and tries his best to get you into a space. As he says they do fill up so it's best to call in advance if possible!

We had full hookup, water/sewer/30 amp electric/cable & great WIFI!

Yes, it's very tight. Yes, it is like a parking lot. If this is not your thing this is not the campground for you. It can be a bit shocking at first to see how close everyone is but you get used to it and in our experience everyone kept to themselves. No one was overly loud or disturbed the peace in anyway. At night the campground felt safe. They are equipped with security cameras and keep watch on things.
We loved this place and location so much we actually extended our stay a few days and the office was so accommodating and fit us in as they could. Hands down we would stay here again!

This campground is hard to rate. Yes, it's small and some of the spaces are tight, but it's very well cared for! Bathrooms are immaculate, staff is very friendly and helpful. Free newspapers are available every morning and there's hot coffee in the office. It's located right off of Hwy 24 which makes it convenient to so many things to see and do; unfortunately it also means there is quite a bit of road noise. Would I stay again? Absolutely!

This RV park was perfect for my husband and I to recalibrate, knock out some chores, and experience Garden of the Gods. The laundry room, bathrooms, and even dog park are impeccably clean. The staff was so kind and helpful and we even extended our stay an extra day. You're definitely packed in tight, but the park is so quiet, we just closed our blinds and forgot where we were. This park is much cheaper than other RV parks near Garden of the Gods and we were very thankful to have found it!
