Really nice library with teen space and printers. Clean restroom!
Its a good library.
book checkout limit is 100
but they only let you have a few AAA games at a time
the makerspace is good but due to staffing isn't always open and I couldn't find its hours anywhere on the website so I'll attach the photo I took to remeber the hours to this review
I love this library. It's amazing! The complaint I have is not against this library, it's against the Library Summer Adventure program and I wasn't sure where else to give this review. To start, I would like to say that I am a teen who has done the library program every year for the last six years. The program used to be so much better. It has really gone downhill in the last few years and I wish they did it the way they used to. My biggest complaint is against the books they pick for the free books teens can earn as one of the prizes, which is the only prize I really look forward to as an avid book reader. The last two years, the books I got were poorly written, creepy, violent, and much too romantic. They are not good books and I am extremely disappointed. I did not finish either of the books I picked out the last two years (which were the best of the selection available) I disliked them so much. I wish the books the library picked were books that actually made teens think instead of romance and violence. I hate seeing this type of book dominate the book choice for teens. I wish that they would encourage kids to read good literature, like Dickens, Tolkien, and Lewis, to name a few amazing authors who all have written very entertaining, teen appropriate books. A mix of classics and new teen romance novels like the ones they have for the program now is a change I would like to see, instead of having the book choice be dominated by books where the cussing is blurred out every ten words.
I stopped by the library today and TerryJosiah was extremely helpful. Everyone there is full of smiles and make you feel welcomed. This is a great library!
I love this library and all the experiences I have had there. Checking out and returning materials is extremely easy, the studio option is awesome, the staff is helpful, they have cool classes and clubs, and you can even rent cameras!
