The Gooseberry Patch

I am convinced the owners of the Gooseberry Patch have a squad of Grandmas hidden in the back cranking out homemade favorites from scratch. The Sunday buffet was like the best church potluck ever and the dessert table rivaled the winners' display at a state fair baking competition.

Acquaint little restaurants in the middle of nowhere, it's so cozy it's bigger than it looks. The food was fantastic and so is the service! I'll definitely go back again

We had the buffet at lunch today. I was impressed. The salads were fresh and the hot food was hot. The mashed potatoes and cream gravy was really good. They had a good selection of desserts. I had an almond joy cookie that was scrumptious. The service was very good as well. We will go back again!

Cute little restaurant built into an old house. Order from the menu or eat from the buffet. We all got the buffet and we were surprised at the selection and quality. Everything tasted great. Good service as well. You can even buy a pie to take home on your way out. Would definitely recommend.

This is how Easter is done right, with pies from the Gooseberry Patch. Undeniably the best pies this side of the Arkansas. Golden flaky crust throughout, never a soggy bottom. And filling is always perfection. I am partial to the Strawberry Rhubarb ;) I love coming to the buffet and reminisce of when I would come with my Papa on Sundays and of course fill up on amazing home cooked goodness. A gem!
