  I can't begin to say how perfect this wonderful little get away is. The cabin itself is beautiful and the interior is warm and cozy with generous amenities.
  
  The living space has a fantastic pellet fed wood stove that does an amazing job of keeping the living area just perfect on a cold night when you and friends gather around the coffee table for games and chatting. Fully wired sound system and large screen tv allow for movie watching or video games.
  
  The kitchen is completely stocked with plates, glasses, and cutlery. Coffee machine, toaster, and blender help with getting people up in the morning with fresh ground coffee, or smoothies. Full gas range with burners, griddle, and stove with convection options. Along with a dish washer, garbage compactor, and recycling bins to help keep your visit in order as well.
  
  There is a private room right off the entrance along with the down stairs bathroom (single shower and heated floor) . This opens into the living area, which has a sun room to the left. The sun room has a nice little benched area for people to eat and gather to enjoy a view of the woods about the property.
  
  Upstairs features a large suite with a master bath which includes a soaking tub and a separate shower.
  
  The master suite has a king size bed, as well as a pull out sleeper day bed. The suite also has an additional futon in the walkway that leads to the balcony. You can sleep 4 to 5 people upstairs depending on your group.
  
  Just outside the living room is the hot tub and fire pits along with a small single bedroom, detached from the main house, with a king size bed.
  
  We got lucky and it snowed the first night we were there which made the hot tub super fun. And on a clear night the night sky is a wonder to enjoy from within the warm water.
  
  We loved it and Scott, the owner, was responsive and quick to answer our questions.

  My husband and I stayed at Casita Colorado for three romantic nights in November 2017. To say this place was special is an understatement. It was charming with all the comforts of home and then some. Everywhere we looked there was something else to admire. The views were spectacular. Scott was extremely accommodating. We look forward to coming back with friends and family.

  We had a lovely, but too short, stay at Casa Colorado. The house is beautifully constructed with wonderful views of the Continental Divide. This a lovely gem nestled in the Rocky Mountains and I am looking forward to my return trip. Scott was a delight, he was incredibly helpful and his demeanor is super sweet.

  I was looking for an extraordinary experience for a mother/daughter weekend, and it needed to be an hour away from Denver. After Googling just that, Casa Colorado came up top on the list. We fell in love with this amazing place and even more with our hosts, Scott and Morgan. Every morning Scott prepared the most amazing, delicious and fresh breakfast - he even went through the extra trouble to meet all of our weird allergies. He was so kind. They offered us their snow shoes and a backpack for a snow excursion and shared so many tips and lots of information about the area. Scott is an incredibly gifted musician and artist -who we got to see perform at an event in Nederland - and Morgan is a great dancer! Scott has put heart and soul into a vision for their little piece of the mountaintop that will blow you away. If you want a rich and unique experience- this is it!

  My recent stay at the Casa was wonderfully rejuvenating. The quiet and luxurious surroundings provided me with a deep and refreshing slumber. Scott's breakfasts are delicious, prepared with skill and a delicate blending of seasonal organic produce and eggs from their resident flock. Thank you Scott and Morgan for offering time in your magical home!
