Lakeside Amusement Park

Im not an amusement park person but I have to say this place was incredibly amusing. I didn't go on any of the rides or anything because I value my life but the place is a giant S*** Show in the absolute best possible way. The people, the rides, the ambiance, did I mention the people? Seriously, it is a good time just like going to a fair at the end of summer. Its pretty cheap to get in and the rides are pretty cool my friends said. I really just don't care for rides myself.

I love this little Mom-n-Pop amusement park; it has so much character and is truly a gem in the middle of this city.

If I had obscene amounts of money, I would donate it to have this park renovated (not to change anything; just to fix up/change out what the park owner needs and deep clean everything). I was impressed when I saw the owner there — talking to, working with, and laughing with their employees — late the other night as I was exiting a five hour family excursion into their park (that the six of us in my family have been excitedly planning, waiting for, for months).

The concessions are always surprisingly cheap and quality; the rides are still as fun as they were 15 years ago (if not more fun); and the employees are usually very kind and helpful. In our family, we now have four generations of us that love this amusement park (my grandmother introduced it to us all; my parents, sister, and I have always loved it; and now my son is a huge fan too)!

Please keep up the excellent work ! We will be back for sure.

Very cool old fashioned amusement park. The $18 wristbands were definitely worth it for everyone in our group. The rides are a lot of fun and the cyclone was our favorite. A little run down but that’s to be expected for a 100+ y/o park. Most of the staff is friendly and some of them are even enthusiastic and make jokes which makes the experience even more fun. Snacks are reasonably priced. Planning on going again in the future.

My hubby and I came here all the time growing up now it's awesome to be able to bring our little ones and show them how to have an awesome time! Still great family fun for an inexpensive price; you can't beat it. The guys running the kiddie rides are always awesome and beyond helpful. Most go above and beyond for these kiddos just to make sure they have a good time. We'll be coming back always.

I cannot say enough good things about this gem! Even though gate admission/wrist bands were cash only, this was a very affordable family evening. The Art Deco lighting from the rides really make the ambiance of the park in addition to the upbeat and friendly staff. Our favorite ride was the Cyclone roller coaster. It was so much fun to ride especially at night! Recovering from the financial losses of COVID-19 can be difficult and we hope that this gem bounces back completely!
