  Under new ownership, you have to check it out! Alexa and her team are absolutely amazing. If you want to pick out your own furnishings or have them design a space for you, you could not be in better hands. We are thrilled to have such a wonderful business like this right here in Evergreen.

  The place to go if you have a cabin or beautiful home that you want to decorate and for cute gifts.
  Make sure to pet Whitman, the huge dog who you'll see lounging by the cash register.... he's a big teddy bear!????

  We purchased a sleeper bed couch from Mountain Home. Kay made many helpful suggestions to guide us in selecting the couch that would be best for us. And then after we found the right one, she found an amazing delivery professional who was a specialist at getting large couches through narrow hallways and smallish doors. Customer service at Mountain Home is fantastic. Thank you Kay!

  As a long-time Evergreen resident (46 years) I have loved watching the evolution of this store from “The Hardware" to "Mountain Home." Housed in one of the historic barns from Hiwan Homestead days, this store has always been a top-notch business, owned and managed by the same family for many years. It’s always a great place to look for furnishings with a mountain flair to finding just the right small gifts for almost any occasion. It seems the buyers work hard to look for new and interesting items to keep the store up-to-date, fresh and fun. I always love stopping by to see what’s new, and I love recommending it to visiting out-of towners.

  I love popping into Mountain Home every time I'm in Evergreen. Their furniture is tasteful and unique. I've seen pieces in the store that I've never seen anywhere else. I always walk out with an interesting decorative piece for my house. And I have to be restrained when they have their Christmas decorations out. The staff is so friendly and they always make me feel like I'm part of the family, which is hard to come by in most big stores. I love Mountain Home!!

It was moved from Main Street, Evergreen to its present location in the old Hiwan Homestead Barn in 1976.
