Kathryn Raynes Midwifery

I absolutely love Kathryn. She was recommended to me by a friend as the “perfect balance between natural and medical” and, after three wonderful home births under her care, I absolutely agree. Kathryn is a safe, conscientious practitioner with many years of experience helping women have positive births. I trust her absolutely, and feel that she respects our feelings and hopes for our births, as well. She is passionate about her work.

After interviewing three other midwives in the Denver area, my husband and I met Kathryn and felt an instant connection. We hired her for the birth of our third child, a planned home birth. Kathryn's care during my pregnancy was remarkable. She was always available to answer questions/concerns and was incredibly sweet to my older children during every prenatal appointment as well as during the birth. Kathryn helped make our homebirth very special and I felt a level of care I hadn't even come close to experiencing with my previous two pregnancies, childbirth, and postpartum period combined. If I were to have another child, I would absolutely hire her again.

We recently had our first Homebirth with Kathryn and it was the most incredible experience. We looked forward to every appointment because we felt listened to and genuinely enjoyed chatting with Kathryn-she always listened to whatever was on our minds and provided the best care. Our 3 year old came to all the appointments with us and she always made her feel welcome and included. I couldn’t imagine a more compassionate, attentive, and supportive midwife. Our birth experience was beautiful and and a big part of that was knowing that we were in very good hands. I’m about a month postpartum and we all truly miss our visits with Kathryn. ( I want to get pregnant again just so we can have another incredible birthing experience with her as our midwife-kidding sort of 🤣). My husband, daughter, and I all highly recommend her. I know even years down the road, we will remember this birth and have tons of fond memories of working with her 😊

I am so glad I chose Kathryn Raynes to attend the birth of my baby. She was knowledgeable, kind and wise in our prenatal visits, during the birth, and in the postpartum period.  I felt she took every precaution in how she proceeded with our care, to ensure the safest passage possible for my baby.  In the weeks following our smooth birth, Kathryn was quick to notice a couple postpartum issues that needed attention, and she approached them with me in a gentle and expedient manner, to benefit both myself and our baby. I highly recommend Kathryn, and would hire her again!

I can't recommend Kathryn enough if you want to have a home birth. She was my midwife for both of my children and I'm so glad I found her! She is caring and patient. I never felt silly asking her questions. She always gave me the time I needed during appointments and never made me feel rushed. She was wonderful during labor. Again, very patient, never pushy. Postpartum care was amazing especially because she comes to your house so you don't have to worry about traveling so soon after birth. I'm so thankful I found Kathryn and was able to have the best birth experiences at home.
