  Anyone who knows me could tell you I love a good sandwich. Sandwiches could sustain me for the rest of my life and I wouldn't be upset. My problem is that I've had a really tough time finding a non-chain sandwich shop that tasted amazing. The search for the best local sandwich brought be to Tommy's. I was told I had to try this place out and I was told absolutely correct. I've been here at least four times since I've found it (I'd come more if it wasn't so far from me). This place gets the sandwich right. Their menu isn't complicated yet features all of the favorites a true sandwich lover would want. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and everything seems fresh. I've noticed this place can get pretty busy but they seem able to handle the crowds well. I recommend the club sandwich yet the Philly is quite an experience. True ribeye steak in the Philly. Yum. I want one right now just thinking about it but it's 11:04pm and they are indeed closed.

  There is a reason this place has such great reviews. Subs done right. Not like the bad chains out there!

  Tommy’s is the Bombys.
  I lived down the street from here a few years ago.
  Terrific no frills sandwich spot.
  Great bread, meats, and toppings.
  Get it loaded, you won’t regret it.
  Any time I’m in the area I text n stop for a sub.

  This place is amazing! The bread is baked fresh and the subs are delicious. The customer service is outstanding and the employees must be paid well because they were all very friendly and helpful. Every time I’m in this part of town I stop in for lunch.

  Great sandwiches every time I’ve been. I have gone occasionally for over a decade as they used to be next tot the location where I took driving lessons for my license. Never had a bad sub or experience. They have since moved down to the end of the building in a larger location accommodate their popularity. The only downside is that like any food place at noon, there is a long line but it is always worth the wait if you have time. There isn’t another sub shop by Quincy ave that I would want to go to.
