I contacted Dave to help with an extremely minor problem - one of my downspouts had come loose and was vibrating in the high winds and making a lot of noise. I had called other local companies and was told things like they weren't available anytime soon, or would have to apply a minimum trip fee of $300, etc. Needless to say, I was in a bit of a panic thinking this was going to take a long time and possibly cost a significant amount.

BUT, then Dave called me back, had me explain the situation, said he was fairly certain of what the problem was and asked if he could swing by now. He arrived 15 minutes later, I showed him the problem area, and he smiled, walked back to his truck and came back to put in two screws. He handed me his card and said to call if that didn't resolve the problem. No minimum charge, no trip cost, nothing.

It's an amazing feeling to know that there are still good people out there - he didn't know me and yet was willing to drive over straight away and help out. I'm keeping his card and will call him for any future roofing/gutter/insulation needs I have.
