  I have suffered from long-term, complex medical diagnoses and Dr. Harrison provided some of the most comprehensive information that has vastly improved my health and emotional well-being. His considerable understanding of the human body and his thorough evaluations through testing, supplements, and routines has changed my life.   Dr. Harrison is simply amazing. The last four months have been absolutely life changing. My sleep patterns, my diet, my energy levels throughout the day and my overall health have all drastically improved since I started this journey. For as long as I can remember I've had trouble sleeping which led to feeling exhausted throughout the day. Everything I seemed to eat upset my stomach. I had headaches daily. The thought of doing anything after work besides going home and crashing repulsed me. My enjoyment of life was quickly diminishing. I had gone to my PCP many times about these issues but was always met with minimal effort in finding a solution. The best part about working with Dr. Harrison was feeling like we were a team working together. That was very important to me being someone who is serious about my health. He helped me implement changes in my diet that weren't nearly as hard as I thought they'd be. Any time we tried a new supplement or changed our plan of action he explained why in detail, making it so much easier to stick to. I especially loved going over the lab work with him because his extensive knowledge of how the body works was fascinating. I've worked in healthcare for over ten years and he taught me so much these past four months. Seeing all my lab work level out was a bonus and really made me feel good knowing all my efforts were worth while. The weight loss was great too! I'm so thankful I stumbled upon the Center of Functional Medicine. I had no idea how much one little google search could change my life. I will be recommending Dr. Harrison to everybody!

  I came to Dr. Harrison after being told I needed my gall bladder removed. I had been experiencing 6 months worth of occasional painful gall bladder attacks. I was referred to a surgeon who wanted me to have my gall bladder removed, but my daughter from Colorado stopped me and said I MUST contact this Functional Medical Doctor in the Denver area (I am from Michigan). I had a call with him and he shared that he felt he would be able to help me out. I figured, what have I got to lose. Fast forward to the present, and I have had ZERO attacks in 5 months. After some bloodwork, we found there were other digestive issues in my body that we are now working on. These digestive issues have probably been going on for many years after looking back at my life, and the gall bladder was the "weak point" in my body that it chose to attack. I have had a lifetime of high cholesterol which is continually been going down every month because of Dr. Harrison's program. I have also had chronic headaches since a life threatening car accident 5 years ago. I have gone from 3-4/weekly to 2-4/monthly. Our goal is ZERO. :-)
  Everything Dr. Harrison does is natural and makes so much sense. Mainstream medicine always wants to prescribe a pill or surgery, but Dr. Harrison works with you naturally and really cares about you succeeding and getting better.

  I have been working with Dr. Harrison for a little over a month and have already experienced very positive changes! My brain fog is lessening, my energy has increased significantly and my stomach issues are so much better. Dr Harrison is incredibly knowledgeable and explains things so I can understand the why and how. Having him walk along side me during this healing process is very encouraging and I’m so thankful to finally find someone who can help me after 30 plus years of health problems.

  Seeing Dr. Harrison has truly been a gift. My daughter and I both received care for autoimmune disorders, stress, stomach, liver, and hormonal issues, and the results have been amazing! He left no stone unturned, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests to gain a complete understanding of our issues and to make valuable recommendations which got to the root cause of our problems. After 120 days of adhering to his protocol, we have both lost weight (my daughter over 20 pounds), are sleeping better, have seen skin issues clear, have better digestion and less inflammation (which has translated to less pain). Our autoimmune and hormonal issues have stabilized and my stress hormone level, cholesterol, and liver enzymes are now in the optimal ranges. We have learned skills that we will continue to use to maintain our progress, and have a better understanding of how we can take charge of our own health.
