Comfort Dental Oral Surgery

My tooth broke in an accident and could not be saved :(. I was referred to Comfort Dental Oral Surgery by my general dentist to get an implant consultation. Dr. Johnson was super kind and thorough with expectations. Since I had some bone loss I was going to need a bone graft as well. Good news is that I could get the extraction, graft and implant placed in the same visit so I only had to be sedated once which was a relief.

I went in for surgery in June and it went really. Healing was a breeze and I was surprised that I did not need any of the pain relievers that were prescribed. There was some soreness and bleeding the first day but by the second day there was hardly any pain (just some gum tissue soreness). I was expecting a lot worse since my impacted wisdom tooth surgery took many many days to heal and was quite painful.

Four months after the initial surgery I went in for stage 2 which was just exposing the implant and adding a healing abutment. I was super scared because I would only get local anesthesia but it was super quick and didn't hurt at all. Dr Johnson was very gentle throughout the entire process.

Yesterday, I finally got the final crown placed with my general dentist and I am SO happy to have a tooth again. My insurance didn't cover any of the implant but it was actually quite affordable and 100% worth it overall considering the alternative, a missing front tooth.

Dr. Johnson is great at what he does and I can tell that he really cares about the quality of his work and his patients. As for my implant, so far everything is good!

I absolutely love this place! Dr Jensen was the most kindest soul EVER! He is truly amazing, I had the pleasure of getting my oral surgery done by him & truly can’t say enough. I was extremely nervous but him & his helpers made me feel at ease. Here I am 12 hrs after my procedure & I feel amazing!

As far as oral surgery goes, this was the best experience I could have had. Dr. Jensen and his team took amazing care of me and had me out in an hour. I opted for the sedation and it was definitely the right choice. I highly recommend this office. If you need this kind of dentistry done, you are going to want this office's highly trained and professional care to do the work for you.

I highly recommend Comfort Dental Oral Surgery. I have taken both an adult and a child to have work done here. They're friendly, helpful and understanding! Dr. Jensen was the best! He knows how to work with children and make their experience go smoothly! He's a natural at moving things along and not giving children time to think of what's coming therefore they don't have time to be afraid. He doesn't sugar coat what's happening, but is honest and works quickly with the children while being kind and you can tell how much he cares about making them feel comfortable. I can't say enough about how happy I was with our experiences here at Comfort Dental Oral Surgery!

Highly recommend. Had my wisdom tooth taken out today. It literally only took 5 minutes. Numbing took 15 and I was done in 20 minutes total. Dr Johnson was super fast and friendly. He made the whole experience way easier and more comfortable. Pry the best experience I’ve ever had at any dentist. They also called to check on me tonight made me feel like a person instead of just another patient. Definitely go here if you need an extraction 💯😁
