  Clean, well maintained, great location and perfect for families. The staff was very nice; and it's nice the owner was on site and involved. The outdoor pool overlooking the mountains was exactly what I needed to relax. Thanks for a great stay!

  For being the cheapest in the area it was great. Loved the hot tub, staff, and location. To top it off, we saw a heard of elk in the morning and young bull Elk came and hung out at night.

  The staff is friendly as soon as you check in. The woman at the desk gave us maps and explained the local attractions to us, which is especially helpful if you're an out-of-stater.
  
  Unlike most of the other forms of lodging in Estes Park, there is not a two-night minimum at Saddle & Surrey, making it the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. We drove up from Denver on Saturday and left Sunday, whereas most other places would've made us stay at least until Monday.
  
  The motel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the pool area is well-kept. The room smelled nice when we walked in, was notably clean, and the bathroom was too.
  
  Unlike a lot of hotel/motel rooms, there IS a microwave and a mini-fridge with plenty of room, so if you have some leftovers from going out to dinner, you can heat them up and eat them.
  
  It is only moments away from RMNP, downtown Estes Park, and our room actually had quite a lovely mountainside view.

  The motel is in an ideal location if you are trying to access the Rocky Mountain National Park. A back road takes you directly to the park, avoiding the town congestion. There are nice places to sit outside and relax The room was clean, quiet, has modern charging stations. Pillows were substantial and there were enough of them. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. A very good value. I will stay here again when visiting the park.

  Old style hotel but very clean and the staff was very friendly!! Only minor complaint was the free breakfast, it was the same every day and was all prepackaged danishes. Not a major complaint and it didn’t really affect my stay but it is worth noting.
